New Details Released for Doing Business Globally 2016

Doing Business Globally 2016 will feature dozens of speakers who are leaders in their fields, including  executives at the forefront of global business and Baker & McKenzie practitioners from around the world.

The event will provide critical legal insights on topics such as doing business in emerging markets, leading successful cross-border deals, and navigating the international tax and finance landscape.

New York | Dallas | Minneapolis

In New York, the keynote address will be delivered by Dambisa Moyo, Global Economist and Author, followed by a discussion on  recent economic and geopolitical developments and their impact on multinational companies. The panel will include Baker & McKenzie partners from London, Mexico City and Toronto, moderated by Peter Schechter, Director of the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center.

In Dallas, Geoff Colvin, Senior Editor-at-Large of Fortune Magazine, will deliver the keynote address. Like New York, the keynote will be  followed by a panel discussion on recent economic and geopolitical developments and their impact on multinational companies. The panel will include Baker & McKenzie partners from London, Mexico City and Toronto, moderated by Jason Marczak, Director of the Latin America Economic Growth Initiative at the Atlantic Council.

And in Minneapolis, our first time hosting in that market, our keynote speaker is Ivo H. Daalder, President of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and former Ambassador to NATO.  His remarks will be followed by a panel discussion between the General Counsels from  Graco Inc., Potbelly and Ecolab, focused on worldwide economics and politics and their impact on international business, colored by the outcome of the US elections.
