David Malliband

The session will feature insights from senior executives and Baker & McKenzie partners who are based around the world, from Sao Paulo to Istanbul to Shanghai to Johannesburg. They will provide on-the-ground perspective on the current business environment, regulatory trends, M&A insight, and practical considerations for managing risk in their respective markets.

“This session is ideal for companies looking to expand globally or who have already done so and are looking for local insight on current legal and business developments in these markets,” said David Malliband, a partner in Baker & McKenzie’s Corporate & Securities practice.

Marcos Basso

The session will include interactive presentations, panel discussions and questions from the audience.

“Given the turbulence and uncertainty in global markets,  our attorneys will offer sophisticated local insight into best practices for doing business in their markets,” said Marcos Basso, who works in Baker & McKenzie’s International Commercial practice.  “Attendees will leave with practical tips and best practices for managing risk and seizing opportunities while doing business across borders.”
